A celebrant is a person who is trained to meet with the family of the deceased, gather information then create and perform a celebration of life service. In cases where a family may not have a pastor, priest or family friend to perform a service, a celebrant is a nice alternative. Fees vary according to individual celebrants but range anywhere from $250 – $500.

If a family chooses a weekend or holiday service, overtime charges may apply at the funeral home and the cemetery. Unlike some funeral homes, we do not charge overtime for responding to a death outside regular business hours — death is out of one's control and it wouldn't be fair to place an additional fee for that. However, we do charge overtime for services on the weekends. This is because, like many people, we work throughout the week serving our community. When we conduct funerals on the weekends, it leaves little time for our family life and less time to rest from our busy work week. We thank you for your understanding. Our overtime fee schedule is as follows:

Saturday morning – $200
Saturday afternoon – $250
Sunday or holiday service – $400
Cemetery overtime charges vary by individual cemeteries but generally range anywhere from $35 – $500.
